Gold buying price in Armenia drops to 16,305 drams per one gram

YEREVAN, July 20, /ARKA/. The State Depository of Precious Stones and Metals Agency, an affiliation of Armenian Finance Ministry, has set new prices for government agencies to buy and sell precious stones and metals which are effective for this week. The new prices are for one gram of chemically pure metals.

Gold is to be bought at 16,305.91 drams (down by 58.05 drams from the previous week) and sold at 17,723.81 drams (down by 63.1 drams);  silver is to be bought at 215.91 drams (down by 1.02 drams) and sold at 234.69  drams (down by 1.1; platinum is to be bought at 14, 433.08 (down by 194.72 drams) and sold at 15,688.91 drams (down by 211.65 drams); palladium is to be bought at 9,175.11 drams (down by 84.94 drams) and sold at 9,972.95 drams (down by 93.33 drams ($1- 480.33 drams). -0-

Average exchange rate of dram to US dollar in December was 3.8% lower than a year ago

In December 2025, the average exchange rate of the Armenian dram against the US dollar stood at 381.5 drams, compared to 396.5 drams in December 2024, as reported by the Statistical Committee (Armstat).
