Eurasian Economic Union development prospects discussed at seminar in Armenia’s Dilijan

YEREVAN, August 27. /ARKA/. A round-table discussion over macroeconomic policies of Eurasian Economic Union member countries and stabilization of their economies took place Thursday in Dilijan in the training and research center of the Central Bank of Armenia, the press office of the regulator reports.

Developments in the global economy, outside and inside risks and mid-run prospects for development of the Eurasian Economic Union countries were discussed at the seminar.

The Eurasian Economic Commission members and representatives of Armenia’s ministries and central bank took part in the discussion.

The Eurasian Economic Union started functioning on January 1, 2015. Its members are Russia, Armenia, Belarus and Kazakhstan. Kyrgyzstan will join it very soon after completion of necessary procedures. —–0—–
