ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK helps install solar water heaters at Vanadzor branch of Orran charity organization

YEREVAN, October 22. / ARKA /. Solar water heaters were installed at the Vanadzor branch of Orran charity organization with the assistance of ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK.

Now over one hundreds children and elderly people will have constant running hot water, the Bank said in a press release.

‘This charity step fits into the framework of the Bank’s priority programs. In addition to the installation of water heaters, the Bank will also handle their maintenance by Schtigen company that installed the water heaters,’ the Bank said.

The Bank started the installation of solar water heaters in childcare institutions last year, and has already managed to solve the problem of hot water in the kindergartens of six border villages and in a rehab center in Kosh.

The Vanadzor branch of Orran charity is being attended by 101 children aged 6-16 from socially vulnerable families and 30 elderly people. It offers five hobby groups.

ACBA was established in 1996 as part of EU’s TACIS program. As a result of a long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation between ACBA Bank and the French Credit Agricole the latter became the biggest shareholder of ACBA in 2006, September. ACBA was restructured, becoming a closed joint stock company and was renamed ACBA CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK.-0-
