Armenia’s 12-month inflation is 1.9 percent

YEREVAN, November 6. / ARKA /. Consumer prices in October 2015 increased by 1.9% from the same time span of 2014,  the National Statistical Service (NSS) of Armenia said..

Prices of food products, including alcoholic beverages and tobacco products,  in October 2015 were 0.6% down when compared to October 2014, while prices of non-foods grew by 5.8% and  services by 1.7%.

In the first 10 months of 2010 consumer prices rose by 4.4% year-on-year, including a 4.1% rise in food prices, 5.9% rise in non-food prices and 3.1% rise in services. The government’s projection of inflation for 2015 is 4% (± 1.5%). -0-
