Armenian banks bought some $110.8 million at local forex market from 14th to 18th of December

YEREVAN, December 21. / ARKA /. Armenian commercial banks bought some $110.8 million at the local forex market from 14th to 18th of December at the weighted average exchange rate of 482.39 drams per $1, the Central Bank said.

It said they also bought 10.2 million euros at the weighted average exchange rate of 524.01 drams per €1 and about 1.2 billion Russian rubles at the weighted average exchange rate of 6.81 drams per 1 ruble.

At the same time, they sold about $123.3 million, €10. 8 million and 593.7 million Russian rubles at the weighted average exchange rates of 484.2 drams, 531.12 drams and 6.92 drams respectively.
Besides, from the 7th to 13th of December the banks provided 51.6 billion drams worth loans in the national currency and $54.4 million worth loans in USD. ($ 1 – 481.04 drams). -0-
