YEREVAN, February 15. /ARKA/. On February 12, 2016, during a special ceremony held at NASDAQ OMX Armenia winners of NASDAQ OMX Armenia Best Member Awards 2015 were announced.
The Annual Ceremony is held for the 6th time in a row and aims to award most active Members of the Exchange and, for already the second time, the Depository.
According to 2015 results the Exchange granted Awards for the following nominations:
Best Exchange Member in Corporate Securities Market,
Best Exchange Member in Government Bonds Market,
Best Exchange Member in Foreign Currency Market,
Best Exchange Member in Credit Resources Market,
Best Exchange Member in repo/swap transactions,
Best Exchange Member.
This year also an award was granted for the “Best trading partner” nomination, where the winner is elected by traders’ community through nominating and voting for the candidates.
According to 2015 results the Depository granted awards for the following nominations:
Best Account operator-Custodian of Depository system in Corporate Bonds Market,
Best Account operator-Custodian of Depository system in Foreign securities Market,
Best Account operator- Registry keeper of Depository system,
Best Member of Stock Exchange Settlement System,
Best Member In Unified System Of Securities Registration and Settlement,
Best Performer In Unified System Of Securities Registration and Settlement.
“Best Exchange Member in Corporate Securities Market” was recognized “Armswissbank” cjsc. Among the best performers/nominees in corporate securities market were “Armenbrok” ojsc and “Capital Investments” cjsc.
“Best Exchange Member in Government Bonds Market” was recognized “Araratbank” ojsc, competing with the other nominees – “Armswissbank” cjsc and “Ameriabank” cjsc.
“Best Exchange Member in Foreign Currency Market” was recognized “Ardshinbank” cjsc competing with the other nominees, “Ameriabank” cjsc and “VTB Bank (Armenia)” cjsc.
“Best Exchange Member in Credit Resources Market” was recognized “VTB Bank (Armenia)”. The other best nominees for the “Best Exchange Member in Credit Resources Market” award were “Converse Bank” cjsc and “Ardshinbank” cjsc.
“Best Exchange Member in repo/swap transactions” was recognized “Converse Bank” cjsc. The other best nominees for this award were “Ardshinbank” cjsc and “Acba-Credit Agricole Bank” ojsc.
The Grand Prix for “Best Exchange Member 2015” was awarded to “Armswissbank” cjsc, competing with other nominees – “Araratbank” ojsc and “VTB Bank (Armenia)” cjsc.
During the Ceremony Karen Sargsyan, trader of “VTB BANK (Armenia)” cjsc was recognized as the
“Best trading partner” for 2015 through voting by secret ballot among the traders.
“Best Account operator-Custodian of Depository system in Corporate Securities Market” became “Armenbrok” ojsc. The other best nominees for this award were “Armenian development bank” ojsc and “Capital Investments” cjsc.
“Best Account operator-Custodian of Depository system in Foreign securities Market” became “Ameriabank” cjsc, competing with the other nominees – “Acba-Credit Agricole Bank” cjsc and “Armenian development bank” ojsc.
“Best Account operator-Registry keeper of Depository system” became “Armenbrok” ojsc, competing with the other nominees – “Ameriabank” cjsc and “Armswissbank” cjsc.
“Best Member of Stock Exchange Settlement System” became “Armswissbank” cjsc, competing with the other nominees – “Ameriabank” cjsc and “Capital Investments” cjsc.
The Grand Prix for “Best Member In Unified System Of Securities Registration and Settlement” was awarded to “Armenbrok” ojsc. The other best nominees for this award were “Ameriabank” cjsc and “Armswissbank” cjsc.
“Best Performer In Unified System Of Securities Registration and Settlement” became Elmira Ghalumyan, “Armenbrok” ojsc. The other nominees for this award were Elen Ghazaryan, “Armenbrok” ojsc and Lusine Davtyan, “Armswissbank” cjsc.
