$58 million bought by Armenian banks in one week

YEREVAN, March 29. /ARKA/. Armenia-based commercial banks bought about $57.93 million from the local foreign exchange intra-market from March 21 to 25 at the weighted average exchange rate of 480.34 drams per $1, the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia said.

It said also in the same time span they bought 7.153 million Euros and about 920.033 billion Russian rubles at weighted average exchange rates of 538.14 per one Euro and 7.01 drams per one ruble.

The banks also sold $67,462 million, €12.341 million and 396.574 million Russian rubles at the weighted average exchange rates of 481.97 drams, 540.67 drams and 7.12 drams respectively.

Besides, from March 14 to 20 the banks extended about 39.6 billion drams worth loans in the Armenian national currency and $53.6 million in the US currency. ($1 – AMD 482.16). —0—-
