Armenia’s forex reserves down $54 million in April

YEREVAN, May 6. /ARKA/. Armenia’s gross international reserves in late April 2016 stood at $1.568.1 billion, a decrease of 3.3% or $53.9 million from the previous month, according to the Central Bank. Assets in freely convertible currencyies stood at $1.554.1 billion, while the special drawing rights (SDR) at the IMF were estimated at $14 million.

According to the regulator, Armenia’s gross international reserves at the end of 2015 stood at about $1. 775.3 billion against $1.489.4 billion at the beginning of the year (a 19.2% growth). -0-
