Prometey bank reorganized into closed joint stock company

YEREVAN, July 11. /ARKA/. On Friday, Prometey Bank LLC was reorganized into CJSC, the press office of the bank reports.

According to the press release, the decision was made at an extraordinary meeting of the bank participants.

Prometey Bank was established in 1990 and registered in Yerevan on October 2, 1991.

The bank shareholders are Russia’s Prometey City LLC (49.97%), Armenia’s ZAkneftegasstroy-Prometey OJSC (46.13%) and Russia’s Gevorgyan Vazgen (3.9%).

The bank’s assets totaled AMD 873.1 billion in the 1st Q 2016 and liabilities AMD 59 billion. Its total capital amounted to AMD 24.2 billion, authorized capital AMD 14.4 billion and loan portfolio AMD 39.1 billion. The bank earned AMD 96.7 million in the first quarter in net profit.
