Over $46.9 million bought by Armenian banks last week

YEREVAN, July 11. /ARKA/. Armenia’s commercial banks bought a total of $46.9 million from the local foreign currency market on July 4 – 8 at the average weighted exchange rate of 476.05 drams per one USD, the Central Bank said.

It said the banks also bought 5.7 million euros and 1.13 billion Russian rubles at the average weighted exchange rates of 526.99 and 7.39 drams per one euro and one ruble respectively.

The banks also sold about $53.8 million, € 9.1 million and 376.6 million rubles at average weighted exchange rates of 477.58, 531.3 and 7.48 drams respectively.

In addition, from June 27 to July 3, the banks provided 56.7 billion drams worth loans in the national currency and $119.4 million worth loans in USD. ($ 1- 476.72 drams).  –0—-
