Armbusinessbank adds AMD 8.4 billion to its authorized capital

YEREVAN, October 24. /ARKA/. Armbusinessbank has filled its authorized capital with AMD 8,467,060,000 thanks to shareholder Vitaly Grigoryan, according to the report posted at the bank’s website.

The bank says it will continue implementing its prospective development program.

Along with building up its capital, Armbusinessbank, as one of flagship banks at the market, is working intensively to strengthen international relations and improve its services.

The bank’s authorized capital amounted to AMD 22.9 billion in late September 2016, and its total capital to AMD 32.6 billion.

In late 2014, the Central Bank of Armenia increased its requirement to the minimum size of commercial banks’ capital from AMD 5 billion to AMD 30 billion.

After that, banks started increasing their capital in compliance with the regulator’s demand.
Armbusinessabank CJSC (Arminvestbank before August 26, 2006) was registered on December 10, 1991.

The bank is a SWIFT s.c.r.l (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication) shareholder since 2006. –0—
