In 2016 October Armenian banks invested about 174.4 billion drams in manufacturing sector

YEREVAN, December 12. /ARKA/. In 2016 October Armenian banks invested about 174.4 billion drams in the manufacturing sector, which was 1.6% less than in September, according to the monthly bulletin of the Central Bank of Armenia for n October 2016.

In October, 84% of investments (the equivalent of 146.7 billion drams) in the manufacturing sector were in foreign currency. The amount was 1.3% less compared to September 2016.

The amount of investments in the manufacturing industry in drams was 27.7 billion drams, a 2.6% decrease in comparison with September 2016. The bulk of investments went to food industry – 35.6% or 62 billion drams. ($ 1 – 483.58 drams). -0-
