Kamurj credit organization provided 344 million drams in preferential loans to border regions

YEREVAN, March 17. /ARKA/. The universal credit organization Kamurj (Bridge) said today that in 2016 it provided more than 344 million drams in preferential loans to 405 borrowers in border communities.

The credit organization has been providing loans to border communities on preferential terms for three years already. In particular, 30 border communities in Tavush and Vayots Dzor provinces enjoy almost all types of loans of the organization without having to pay processing and servicing fees.

“As a socially responsible company, Kamurj has always aimed at helping improve the social and economic situation of vulnerable groups of the population. The residents of the border areas of Armenia are one of the most important guarantors of the security and all of us should do everything in our power to help them,” the organization said in a press release.

“We will continue to help the population of the border areas to develop their communities,” the press release said.

Kamurj is one of the largest credit organizations operating in Armenia. It was founded by a charitable foundation for the development of small businesses in 2010. In February 2012 it was reorganized to Kamurj cjsc. ($ 1 – 483.95 drams). -0-
