Armenian central bank issues 4 types of gold commemorative coins

YEREVAN, March 30. /ARKA/. Armenian Central Bank has released 4 types of gold commemorative coins “Noyan Tapan” (Noah’s Ark).

According to the regulator, it has released 3,000 gold coins with the nominal value of 100 drams (a coin weighs 1 gram) 1,000 coins with the nominal value of 10,000 drams (each weighing 7.78 grams), 800 coins with the nominal value of 25,000 drams (each weighing 15.55 grams) and 5000 coins with a nominal value of 50,000 drams (each weighing 31.1 grams).

The obverse of all coins depicts the coat of arms of Armenia. On the reverse side there is a dove with a branch of olive in its beak and Mount Ararat amid the dawn. -0—
