Armenian banks increase lending by AMD 63.2 billion in May

YEREVAN, July 4. /ARKA/. The loans provided by Armenia’s banks in May 2018 total AMD 2 861.2 – this is 2.2% more than the lending of the previous month.

According to the central bank’s report, lending to residents totaled AMD 2 656 billion in late May after growing by AMD 48.5 billion or 1.8% over one month.

Lending to entrepreneurs grew 2.2% or by AMD 33.3 billion to AMD 1 506.5 billion and to households 1.9% or by AMD 957.28 billion to AMD 957.28 billion.

Lending to nonresidents amounted to AMD 205.2 billion in late May showing a 7.7% month-on-month growth. ($ 1 – AMD 482.7). -0—
