Ministry of defense team wins VTBLleague football tournament

YEREVAN, December 7. /ARKA/. The final match and the closing ceremony of the VTB League football tournament, organized by VTB Bank (Armenia) for public servants, took place in the Dynamo gym in Yerevan on December 6.

According to a VTB Bank (Armenia) press release, the final match was played by the teams of the Police and the Ministry of Defense of Armenia. It was tense and dynamic with the fans vigorously supporting their teams.
The match was won 4-2 by the Ministry of Defense team. The prize fund of the tournament was 2.2 million drams.

The prize for the 1st place was 1,000,000 drams. The 2nd place prize was 700,000 drams. The 3rd place prize that went to the team of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs was 500,000 drams.
The closing ceremony was held in a festive atmosphere and was accompanied by a festive performance by the Armenian team of rhythmic gymnastics.

Defense Minister David Tonoyan, Police Chief Valery Osipyan, Acting Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs Gabriel Ghazaryan, and Ivan Telegin, CEO of VTB Bank (Armenia), were present too.

The tournament involved teams of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Police, the Ministry of Diaspora, the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Development and the Ministry of Finance.
