Armenian bank deposits up to over three trillion drams

YEREVAN, June 5. /ARKA/. At the end of April 2019, total deposits in Armenia-based commercial banks stood at 3,040,9 trillion drams, an increase of 61.5 billion drams or 2.1% from the previous month, according to the Central Bank.

It said deposits of residents stood at 2, 249,5 trillion drams (an increase of 1%). Also deposits in the Armenian national currency increased by 1.7% to 1,094,6 trillion drams, and deposits in foreign currency by 3.5% to the equivalent of 1,154,9 trillion drams.

Non-resident deposits at the end of April 2019 were worth 791.4 billion drams, an increase of 5.3%. ($ 1 – 480.02 drama). -0-
