Bank robbery attempt foiled in Yerevan

YEREVAN, June 11. /ARKA/. A man with a sporting gun tried to rob a bank on the fringe of Yerevan on Monday at 17:30, the press office of the police department reports.

A policeman working at the bank, seeing the intruder immediately tried to pick out the gun, and at this moment, the gun fired. The policeman has managed to pick it out and caught the man with the help of citizens.

The caught man, a 46-year-old resident of Yerevan, was taken to a police station. An investigation was launched into the bank robbing attempt. -0—
