Armenian vice-premier discusses with EBRD delegation country’s development strategy for 2019-2024

YEREVAN, July 29. /ARKA/. Armenian Vice-premier Tigran Avinyan received Wednesday a EBRD delegation headed by Dmitry Gvintadze, the head of the Armenian office, the press office of the Armenian government reports.

The preliminary version of the country’s strategy for 2019-2024 was the key topic discussed at the meeting.

The parties also outlined prospects of cooperation between Armenia and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for the next five years. In particular, Gvindadze presented the prime minister the scale and instruments of the bank’s support for Armenia’s private and public sectors.

Special attention will paid to enhancement of the private sector’s competitiveness improvement of administration, support for business environment reforms and sustainable development of infrastructures.

The vice-premier stressed the importance of cooperation with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and ranked highly the implementation of the measures aimed at stable development of infrastructures and investment environment. -0—
