Central Bank provides data on about 50 thousand card accounts of Karabakh refugees to Social Security Service for transferring 100 thousand dram assistance

YEREVAN, October 6. /ARKA/. Armenia’s Central Bank has already transferred data on about 50 thousand bank card accounts belonging to refugees from Nagorno-Karabakh to the Social Security Service for transfering  100 thousand dram lump-sum financial support,  Nazeli Baghdasaryan, press secretary for the prime minister, said on Friday.

“The transfer of sums will start today,” Baghdasaryan said. She also urged citizens who do not have accounts to get it at the nearest bank. This process, she said, is maximally simplified and will take only a few minutes.  

“Funds will also be available when the account is opened, but  cards will not be issued yet,” the prime minister’s spokeswoman said.

The money will be issued only on working days. The process will start on Friday and  continue on Monday. -0-
