Total capital of Armenia’s banks amounts to about AMD 1.5 trillion

YEREVAN, October 20. /ARKA/. The total capital of 18 Armenia-based commercial banks amounted to about AMD 1.5 trillion in late September, 2023 having increased by 13.48% as compared to the beginning of the year, according to ARKA news agency’s quarterly bulletin ‘Banks of Armenia,’ compiled based on the banks’ financial statement published in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)..

Ameriabank was the number one bank in terms of total capital that stood at AMD 189.4 billion (10.07% growth).

Ardshinbank was second with 186.1 billion drams capital (27.85% growth), and Armbusinessbank was third with the total capital of 164.96 billion drams (7.02% growth).

Acba Bank was fourth with AMD 126.2 bln (15.35% growth) and Inecobank was fifth with a total capital of 82.9 billion drams (8.52% growth).
