Deflation of 1.7% registered in Armenia in February for the year

YEREVAN, March 6. /ARKA/. Armenian consumer prices in February 2024 were down 1.7% compared to February last year, the National Statistical Committee (NSC) reported.

It said consumer prices in February when compared to January were down 0.7%.

At the same time, prices in January-February decreased by 1.3% compared to the same period in 2023.

Armenian government’s inflation forecast for 2024 is 4% (±1.5%). -0-
