Soldier’s House equipped with modern medical equipment thanks to assistance of Stepan Gishyan charitable foundation

YEREVAN, April 4. /ARKA/. The Soldier’s House, a unique rehabilitation center in Armenia and the region, has acquired medical instruments and equipment for a number of surgeries with the assistance of Stepan Gishyan Charitable Foundation.

“The equipment purchased with the assistance of Stepan Gishyan Charitable Foundation is considered the best, thanks to it we can shorten the duration of therapeutic surgery and prevent a number of complications. Thanks to this grant program, the operating room of our center was equipped with 2 sophisticated instruments that will allow us to carry out more effective treatment of our pateints. Sets of maxillofacial and dental instruments, laser device purchased thanks to the grant will give us an opportunity to solve a number of problems of the guys with military disability,” said Mikael Sahakyan, Chief Doctor of the Soldiers’ Home rehabilitation center.

“The charitable foundation pays special attention to all programs aimed at the health care sphere. Within the framework of this program, we helped the Soldier’s Home Rehabilitation Center to purchase modern equipment and tools. We are glad that we were able to be part of this important initiative,” said Anna Gishyan, Director of Stepan Gishyan charitable foundation.

The Stepan Gishyan Charitable Foundation was established by Acba Bank, French Credit Agricole, the National Federation of Credit Agricole and the Gishyan family. The Foundation’s programs are aimed at strengthening Armenian-French relations, improving Armenia’s socio-economic, scientific-educational, cultural and medical systems.

During its existence, the doctors and psychologists of the Soldier’s House rehabilitation center have assisted in the treatment and rehabilitation of more than 7,000 servicemen, solving their problems of social integration, education, law and employment absolutely free of charge.
