Armenian banks paid taxes worth AMD 22.5 bln  in the first quarter

YEREVAN, April 26. /ARKA/. All Armenia-based 18 commercial banks are in the list of 1000 largest corporate taxpayers compiled for January-March 2024, having paid 22.5 billion drams in various taxes, the State Revenue Committee said.

About 21.9 billion drams were collected by tax authorities and 592.4 million drams by customs authorities.

The top five banks in terms of tax size were Acba Bank – AMD 3.2 billion (13th place), Ameriabank – AMD 3.1 billion (14th place), Ardshinbank – AMD 2.4 billion (22nd place), Unibank – AMD 2.3 billion (23rd place) and Inecobank – AMD 1.5 billion (40th place).  The Central Bank  paid 621 million drams.

According to official data, Armenia’s 1000 largest taxpayers paid more than 387.1 billion drams in taxes in the first quarter of 2024.

Mobile Center Art tops the list (19.9 billion drams in taxes paid), followed by Gazprom Armenia (18.2 billion drams), Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine (15.6 billion drams). ($1 – AMD 390.04). -0-
