In April, the estimated exchange rate of Armenian dram to US dollar decreased by 2.4%

YEREVAN, May 6. /ARKA/. In April 2024 compared to March of the same year, Armenia recorded consumer price inflation of 0.6% and a 2.4% decrease in the estimated exchange rate of the Armenian dram against the US dollar, according to  the National Statistical Committee of Armenia.

In April of the current year compared to December of the last year, 0.8% increase in consumer prices and 3.3% decrease in the exchange rate of the Armenian dram against the U.S. dollar were recorded.

In the same period of the last year there was a 0.9% increase in consumer prices and a 1.7% decrease in the exchange rate of the Armenian dram against the U.S. dollar.

In April 2024, the average exchange rate of the Armenian dram against the US dollar amounted to AMD 391, which is 0.8% higher than in April 2023 (AMD 387.7). -0-
