Loan portfolio of Armenian banks in H1 2024 upped to  5.376 trillion drams

YEREVAN, July 18 /ARKA/. Armenian banks’ loan portfolio net of reserves grew by 6.9% or AMD 345.1 billion in the first half of 2024, reaching  AMD 5.376 trillion.

According to ARKA news agency’s ranking, as of 30.06.2024, Ameriabank held the leading position in the banking segment in terms of loan portfolio. The bank’s lending volume (net of reserves) totalled AMD 1,067.7 billion (8.4% growth yoy).

The second position was held by Ardshinbank, whose net loan portfolio stood at  AMD 703.8 billion (4.8% growth).

The third line of the ranking was occupied by Acba Bank, whose net loan portfolio totalled AMD 570.2 billion (5.9% growth).

The ranking is compiled based on ARKA news agency’s bulletin ‘Banks of Armenia’, based in turn on the reports of Armenian banks published in accordance with international IFRS standards.
