Armenian dram to US dollar exchange rate decreased by 0.2 per cent in September

YEREVAN, 3 October. /ARKA/. In September 2024, compared to August of the same year, Armenia recorded a 0.2% increase in consumer prices and a 0.2% decrease in the estimated exchange rate of the Armenian dram against the US dollar ( the dram was revalued), the National Statistical Committee reports.

In September this year compared to December last year, consumer prices and the exchange rate of Armenian dram to the US dollar were down 1.1 and 4.2 per cent respectively.

During the same period last year, consumer prices and the estimated exchange rate of the Armenian dram against the US dollar dropped by 2.3 per cent and 1.9 per cent respectively.

In September 2024, the average settlement rate of the Armenian dram against the US dollar was 387.4 drams, 0.1 per cent higher than in September 2023 (386.9 drams). -0-
