Central Bank of Armenia lowers refinancing rate for seventh time this year

YEREVAN, October 29. /ARKA/. At its meeting on October 29, the Board of the Central Bank of Armenia reduced the refinancing rate by 0.25 percentage points, setting it at 7.25%.

The Lombard repo rate has also been reduced to 8.75%, and the rate for attracting funds has been lowered to 5.75%, according to the regulator’s press service.

This is the 12th consecutive reduction in the refinancing rate since June of last year and the seventh since the beginning of the current year. -0-
