0.6% inflation recorded in Armenia in October

YEREVAN, November 5. /ARKA/. Inflation in Armenia’s consumer market reached 0.6% in September this year compared to September last year, according to a report by the National Statistical Committee of Armenia.

At the same time, according to the NSC, month-over-month inflation in October was recorded at 0.3% compared to September.

At the same time, zero inflation was recorded from January to October 2024 compared to the same period in 2023.

In Armenia’s 2024 state budget, inflation is set at 4% (±1.5%). According to the Central Bank’s third-quarter report on monetary policy, inflation in Armenia is expected to be between 2% and 2.1% by the end of 2024. The forecast for 2025 is 3.2% to 4%, for 2026, 3.8% to 4.2%, and for 2027, 4%.

The World Bank expects inflation in Armenia to reach 3% in 2024, 3.5% in 2025, and 4% in 2026. The IMF forecasts that prices in Armenia will increase by 3.1% in 2024 and by 3.7% in 2025. According to ADB projections, inflation in Armenia will be 0.8% in 2024 and will accelerate to 2.5% in 2025. The EDB anticipates inflation in Armenia to be 1.5% by the end of this year. -0-
