Istak Distillery partners with Acba Leasing to start production of calvados (VIDEO)

YEREVAN, October 4. /ARКА/. Istak Distillery is crafting the Armenian calvados “Сharline” from apples that have matured under the Armenian sun, utilizing French technology, as reported by the press service of Aсba Bank.

“Сharline,” which is aged in oak barrels, marks Istak Distillery’s inaugural product, with plans to subsequently produce premium vodkas and gins.

These beverages are currently available in the local market and are set to be exported to Europe shortly.

The company’s production partner is Aсba Leasing, a prominent leasing company, which facilitated the installation of solar panels and a steam boiler at the plant.

“Through our partnership with Aсba Leasing, we acquired solar panels and a steam boiler, enabling us to optimize the entire production process. The solar panels supply electricity for the entire company, while the boiler assists in organizing the production process itself. The boiler generates steam, which is utilized in the distillation process,” stated Lusine Muradyan, a representative of Istak Distillery.

Aсba Bank holds a 100% stake in Acba Leasing. Acba Leasing is overseen by the Central Bank.-0-
