YEREVAN, May 19. /ARKA/. As of April 2026, 531,000 pensioners and benefit beneficiaries in Armenia were using the cashback program for non-cash purchases, according to RA Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Arsen Torosyan.

“In January 2026, their number was 400,000. Thus, this year alone, the number of beneficiaries has increased by 130,000,” Torosyan wrote on Facebook.

The minister noted that the average monthly cashback has actually increased from 4,000 to 8,000 drams. “It’s safe to say that for almost everyone, pensions have increased, on average, not by 10,000 drams, but by 18,000 drams, and this amount will approach 20,000 drams,” Torosyan said.
