In Armenia, maximum payout limits for compulsory motor third-party liability insurance (OSAGO) will increase on April 1, 2026.

Amendments to the rules of the compulsory motor third-party liability insurance (CMTPLI) system will come into effect in Armenia on April 1, 2026, providing for an increase in maximum insurance payout limits, according to the Bureau of Motor Insurers of Armenia.

At its session on Wednesday, the National Assembly of Armenia adopted amendments to the law "On Compulsory Liability Insurance Arising from the Use of Motor Vehicles" in the first reading.

On January 30, the Central Bank of Armenia approved the acquisition of 100% of the shares of LIGA INSURANCE by the Austrian Grawe Group and C-Quadrat Investment Group.
