VTB Bank (Armenia) announced best bank cooperating with financial ombudsman’s office

YEREVAN, February 2. /ARKA/. Armenian Financial Ombudsman’s Office has announced VTB Bank (Armenia) the best bank cooperating with the office.

On Tuesday, Armenian Financial Ombudswoman Piruz Sargsyan handed the personalized certificate to the bank.

Valery Ovsyannikov, director general and chairman of the bank’s directorial board, thanked the office and the financial ombudswoman for appreciation of to the bank’s cooperation with the office.

“This result would be impossible without joint efforts to improve cooperation between our institutions,” he said.

Ovsyannikov said that the bank is developing relations with the financial ombudsman’s office in all directions.

He said the bank cooperates with the office in making decisions on clients’ claims.

Besides, the bank and the office provide joint consultations, seminars and PR and advertising campaigns.

AKBA-Credit Agricole Bank and Unibank as well as INGO-Armenia insurance company, Express-Credit credit organization and Valkes Ltd. pawn shop got certificates from the financial ombudsman’s office as well.

VTB Bank Armenia (Armenian Savings Bank before June 2006) joined VTB Group in April 2004.
