Aggregate net profit of Armenian credit organizations reduces 12.5% to AMD 2.6 billion in 2009

YEREVAN, February 16. /ARKA/. Aggregate net profit of Armenian credit organizations amounted to AMD 2.6 billion in 2009 after reducing 12.5%, compared with the previous year.

ARKA News Agency’s analysis of credit organizations’ quarterly reports shows that their 2009 interest yield reached AMD 10.5 billion and interest expenditure AMD 3.2 billion by late December.

As a result, credit organizations’ net interest yield totaled AMD 7.4 billion.

According to the analysis, Aregak universal credit organization, with its AMD 966.4 million net profit, was the largest profit-gainer among Armenian credit organizations.

Its net profit made up 37.3% of aggregate net profit of the country’s credit organizations.

Finca universal credit organization (AMD 464.6 million and 18%), AGBA Leasing (AMD 424.9 million and 16.4%) and Express-Credit (AMD 273.9 million, 10.6%) and BLESS (AMD 171.4 million, 6.6%) are among leaders as well.
