UCO “Aregak” has no plans to enter the market of consumers’ crediting

YEREVAN, March 18. /ARKA/. Universal Credit Organization (UCO) “Aregak” has no plans to enter the market of consumers’ crediting, said Mariam Yesayan, Executive Director of UCO “Aregak”.

“We do not fully refuse products of consumers’ crediting but currently prefer business credits”, she said.

During last year the company assessed provision of consumers’ credits as high risk activity.

“Risk level of credits, redemption of which depends on unpredictable circumstances is rather high”, she said.

Priorities of “Aregak” were and now are business credits as people can have an opportunity to work and get income due to their credits.

UCO “Aregak” was established in 2006. As of December 31, 2009 assets of the company were 11.2 billion drams versus 9.5 billion drams in 2008, credit investments were increased by 7.5 billion drams making 7.9 billion drams. ($1 – 400.10 drams).  –0–
