Armenian credit organizations’ liabilities shrink 3.9% to AMD 53.8 billion

YEREVAN, November 9. /ARKA/. Armenian credit organizations’ liabilities totaled AMD 53.8 billion by late September after reducing 3.9% over the third quarter, the Central Bank of Armenia said in its quarterly review.

Their liabilities to banks and other financial organizations shrank 7.8% to AMD 29.2 billion.
Instead, their aggregate time liabilities to individuals grew 6.3% to AMD 3.2 billion.

Credit organizations’ time liabilities to legal entities, including the government, amounted to AMD 18.8 billion by late September after growing 0.3% over the quarter.

Demand liabilities totaled AMD 213.8 million in late September against AMD 219.6 million in early July.

Credit organizations’ other liabilities reached AMD 1.5 billion by late September after growing 6% over the third quarter.

Accrued interests amounted to AMD 788.9 million after shrinking 6.1% over the period between July and September.

Some 32 credit organizations with their 60 branches function in Armenia now. ($1 = AMD 362.99). -0—
