Credit investments of commercial banks of Armenia in the resident economy exceeded 962 billion drams at the end of March

YEREVAN, May 10. /АRКА/. Credit investments of commercial banks of Armenia in the resident economy made over 962 billion drams at the end of March increased by 4.6% or about 42.7 billion drams at the end of February. Such information is contained in the monthly directory of Central Bank of Armenia for March 2011.

Weighted average of total credit investments made 23% for the industrial sector. The banks sent about 221.2 billion drams to this sector (increase – compared with 2.1%).

In the second place is the trade sector with the share of 20.8%, crediting of which increased by 6.7% compared with the last month making about 200.1 billion drams.

In the third place are the consumer loans with the share of 18.5%, which increased by 4.6% compared with February. Consumer credits of the banks were about 178.1 billion drams. Mortgage loans of the banks in resident economy is about 90.6 billion drams increased by 1.8%.

The banks sent about 78.8 billion drams (increase of 2.8% compared with the previous month) to the construction sector. Agricultural crediting at the end of March was about 57.3 billion drams increased by 4.5%, service sector – about 46.5 billion drams (increase by 13,.%), transport and communication sector – about 30. 2 billion drams (increase by 4%).
