Armenian Central Bank’s net internal assets increased by 14.7% to 143.3 billion drams at the end of November 2011

YEREVAN, January 12. /ARKA/. Central Bank of Armenia said today its net internal assets amounted to about 143.3 billion drams at the end of November 2011, having increased by 14.7% from October.

According to a statement on Central Bank official website, its liabilities to the government during the reporting period amounted to about 82.5 billion drams, down from 91.9 billion drams in October. The liabilities to commercial banks increased by 8.5% to more than 99.6 billion drams in late November. Other liabilities were said to have risen by 1% to 126.2 billion drams.

Armenia’s net international reserves in November amounted to about 447.7 billion drams, a decrease of 1.9% from October, while the monetary base amounted to about 591.1 billion drams, having increased by 1.6% from the previous month. ($ 1-387.04 drams). -0-
