Ameria group sponsors 13th business awards ceremony of Armenian-American chamber of commerce in Los Angeles

YEREVAN, February 28. /ARKA/. Ameria group of companies marked its membership in the Armenian-American Chamber of Commerce (AACC) in Los Angeles and sponsored the 13th business awards ceremony conducted by AACC, Ameriabank said to ARKA today.

According to its press release, the event was attended by over 400 Armenian-American business people and was the largest event this year. Special awards went to three well-known U.S.-Armenian entrepreneurs in recognition of their business successes and their contribution to the Armenian community.

According to the press release, the Best Company 2012 award went to Turbo Tyres. Lawyer Maro Burunsuzyan was named the winner in the category Woman Entrepreneur of the Year, while the Entrepreneur of the Year award was given to Gagik Gevorkyan, the chairman of Estet Jewelry House.

The Organization 2012 award went to the Armenian-American Medical Society.

Part of the proceeds raised by the award ceremony will be provided as stipends to Armenian students in the United States and Armenia.

America’s representation in the USA -Ameria Group Inc-plans to organize another award ceremony for over 1800 AACC members to choose best investors and best operating companies in Armenia.
