Average rates on AMD loans slip 0.15 p. p. to 16.9 % in March

YEREVAN, April 18. /ARKA/. The average interest rate on loans in Armenian drams dropped by 0.15 percentage points to 16.9% this March  from February, the website of the Central Bank of Armenia says
The average interest rate on loans in foreign currency is said to climb 0.15 p.p. to 13.7% in March from a month earlier.
At the same time, within the reported period the average rate on loans for legal entities  shrank 0.1 p.p. to 12.3 %.
The same indicator for individuals advanced 0.1 p.p. to 18.4% in March from February, the source says.
As of March 31, 2012, there are 21 commercial banks in Armenia. ($1 – 392.55 drams). —0–
