Armenia’s lending to residents ups 3.4% to Amd 1453 bln in June

YEREVAN, August 7. /ARKA/. Armenia’s residents received 1 453 billion drams in loans allocated by the commercial banks as of June 30 (increase by 3.4% from May), according to the data available on the Central Bank’s website.

Lending to non-residents climbed by 2.5% to over 41.1 billion drams.

Lending to residents in drams rose by 1.4% to over 523.2 billion drams in June from May, and in foreign currency- + 4.5% to over 929.8 billion drams.

Loans to non-residents in drams totaled 12.3 billion drams advancing 0.6% in June from May, and in foreign currency- + 3.3% to nearly 28.8 billion drams. ($1 – 411.02 drams).—0–
