Armenian base money 0.1% down at 603.8bln drams in September

YEREVAN, November 1. /ARKA/. Armenian monetary base fell by more than 793mln drams or 0.1% and totaled about 603.8bln drams by the end of September 2012 as compared with the previous month, the website of the country’s National Statistical Service reports.

Cash outside the Central Bank exceeded 400.5bln drams by end September against 400.6bln at the end of August.

Compulsory reserves in drams were more than 149.9bln drams against more than 146bln drams by end August; foreign currency compulsory reserves were over 44.1bln drams against 48.1bln drams by end August.

Net international reserves (privatization funds exclusive) were about 374.2bln drams, a 2.6% reduction compared to August
Net internal assets exceeded 229.5bln drams in the period against more than 220.2bln drams by end August. ($1=405.47drams).  –0–
