October inflation in Armenia stands at 3.4%

YEREVAN, November 20. /ARKA/. October inflation in Armenia stood at 3.4% year-over-year, according to the National Statistical Service of Armenia.

At the same time, consumer prices rose 1.2% in October from September, and by 2.4% in January-October from the same period a year earlier.

Economic activity in Armenia climbed  4.9% in October 2012 from a year earlier, slashed 16.5% from September, and rose 7.2% in Jan-October 2012 from the same period a year earlier.

According to the state budget, the inflation rate in Armenia is projected at 4% (±1.5%), and GDP growth – 4.2%. —0-
