Repo transactions made by Armenia’s Central Bank in October 2012 increase by 11.8%

YEREVAN, December 18. / ARKA /. The amount of repo transactions concluded by Armenia’s Central Bank in October 2012 increased by 11.8% from the previous month to 208.2 billion drams.
According to a statement posted on the Central Bank’s official website, the amount of reverse repo transactions made 12 billion drams, and the amount of deposits attracted in October totaled 51 billion drams.

According to the Central Bank, in 2012 October, it bought out 2.2 billion drams worth government bonds, up from 750 million in September. ($ 1-407.34 drams). -0-
