Armenia’s economic activity jumps 5.5% in November

YEREVAN, December 20. /ARKA/. Economic activity in Armenia rose 5.5% in November 2012 from a year earlier, according to the National Statistical Service of Armenia.
In November from October the index dropped by 6.7%.

Hike in consumer prices stood at 3.6% in November year over year, and the prices for manufacturers of  industrial production climbed 12.4%.

Industrial production volume stood at 107.1 billion drams in the reported month, which is 2.9% higher from November 2011.

Foreign trade turnover of Armenia totaled $527.6 million in November, which was 4.5% higher from a year earlier.

GDP growth of Armenia is projected at 4.2% in 2012. —0–
