Time bank deposits of Armenian individuals and private entrepreneurs increased 39.2% last year

YEREVAN, February 19. / ARKA /. Time bank deposits of Armenian individuals and private entrepreneurs increased by 39.2% last year from the previous one to 597.6 billion drams, according to the interim financial statements of the banks for the fourth quarter of 2012.

The leading bank in terms of this index was Armbusinessbank, which accounted for 11.31% of all time deposits (more than 67.6 billion drams) of individuals and private entrepreneurs. They made 40.73 percent of its total liabilities.

It was followed by Unibank – about 65.8 billion drams, VTB Bank (Armenia) – more than 59.2 billion drams), Ardshininvestbank -over 55 billion drams, ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK -more than 50 billion drams.

According to ARKA’s data, the total bank deposits of individuals and legal entities stood 1.137.5 trillion drams in late December 2012. The total liabilities of the Armenian banking in 2012 amounted to more than 2.002.6 trillion drams. As of December 31, 2012, 21 local banks ran 479 branches. ($ 1 – 406.55 drams).  -0-
