Armenia’s money supply rose 1.3% to AMD 1,363.9 bln in March

YEREVAN, April 30. /ARKA/. Armenia’s money supply rose by 1.3% to over 1,363.9 billion drams.

Cash outside the banking system stood at nearly 344 billion drams late March versus over 342.2 billion drams at the end of February, National Statistical Service reported, citing preliminary figures of the Central Bank. Demand deposits (in drams) totaled 158.1 billion drams against nearly 168.7 billion drams as of late February.

Time AMD deposits rose to over 211.3 billion drams from 202.5 billion drams within the reported period. Foreign currency deposits increased to about 650.4 billion drams from about 633.4 billion drams respectively.

Money multiplier climbed by 0.13 points to 2.11 in March. ($1=410.45drams).  –0–
