Central Bank’s total external liabilities drop by 0.5 percent in 2014 January to $641.4 million

YEREVAN, March 12 / ARKA /. Armenian Central Bank’s total external liabilities dropped by 0.5 percent in 2014 January if compared to December 2013 to $641.4 million , according to the monthly bulletin of the Central Bank for January 2014.

The largest liability – more than 56.7% or $364 million- was owed to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) (a 0.3% decline from the previous month).

SDR in January 2014 stood at $135 million (down 0.4%), other loans equaled $142.1 million (down 1.25%).

The Central Bank had also other external liabilities worth $0.3 million. -0-
