Anelik Bank cardholders can get remittances on phone, no visit required

YEREVAN, November 10. /ARKA/. From now on, Anelik Bank cardholders can get their money transfers without visiting bank offices, the press office of the bank reported.

For activating this service cardholders should sign the respective agreement and get a special password, according to the report.

Clients will get their remittances transferred to their card accounts just calling 010 59 33 33 and providing the required information to the staff (name, surname, serial number of identity document, the remittance code), says the report.

The head of PR at the bank Astghik Martirosyan said the service is offered to all cardholders getting transfers through Anelik, MoneyGram, IntelExpress, Avers, Tandem and Sigue Money Transfer.

Anelik Bank was established on July 9, 1990 and registered on October 1, 1991. In October 1996, the bank got its license from the Central Bank of Armenia. Anelik Bank’s shares belong to Lebanese CreditBank.

The bank’s assets totalled about AMD 73.3 billion as of the end of September 2014 (a 22.11% growth from the beginning of the year) and liabilities were AMD 59.7 billion (a 27.16% growth). Its capital amounted to 13.6 billion (a 3.97% increase) and loan portfolio AMD 48 billion (a 24.4% growth). Anelik Bank’s liabilities to clients were 43.1 billion drams (29.8% increase). The bank posted a loss of 480.9 million drams in the third quarter of 2014, as compared to 1,141.1 million in loss in the same period of 2013. ($1- 413.94 drams). –0–
