Assets of Armenia’s Kamurj credit organization hike by 48%

YEREVAN, February 27. /ARKA/. Assets of Kamurj universal credit organization rose by 48% during 2014 to 16 billion drams, the company’s press office reported.

The report says the company recorded growth for practically all financial indicators in the period. In particular, the loan portfolio rose by 32%.

Director of Kamurj Gagik Vardanyan said the 2014 financial performance will create a good basis for development in 2015.

Loans from Kamurj have been always known by minimum documents required and flexible repayment schedule for businesses and professional qualities of the staff, Vardanyan said.

Kamurj is one of the biggest credit organizations operating in Armenia. It was founded in February 2012 as a result of re-organizing. Kamurj cjsc was established as non-profit organization, by a benevolent organization supporting microbusiness in 2010. –0–

Central Bank leaves refinancing rate unchanged taking into account high uncertainty in US economic policy

The Central Bank of Armenia decided today to leave the refinancing rate unchanged at 6.75% taking into account a set of factors such as  the continued high uncertainty surrounding the US economic policy, declining confidence in the global economy, growth slowdown and  a possible  weakening demand in Armenia, the head of the regulator Martin Galstyan said at a press conference on Tuesday.
